Chocolate Martinis as Your Signature Wedding Drink
There are many ways to make a chocolate martini. Pick your favorite spirit such as light rum, vodka or brandy as a base spirit to mix with a chocolate liqueur. If you're looking for a fruity taste, pick a flavored vodka or rum such as citrus or raspberry. For a sweeter taste, use vanilla flavored vodka or rum. To garnish, coat rim of martini glass or a swirl a chocolate syrup in a glass. Very Pretty and guests at your wedding will love it
Ingredients:
- 2 oz base spirit (vodka, light rum or brandy)
- 1/2 oz chocolate liqueur
- 1/2 oz white creme de cacao
- Chocolate syrup to coat rim of martini glass
Coat rim of martini glass with chocolate syrup. Mix all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a martini glass.
This is perfect if your main design color is "chocolate brown: or if you are planning your wedding around any time chocolate sales are big! For example if it were around Valentine's day, why not add a "Hershey's" kiss as a sliced garnish on the rim. Check out the kisses of all kisses which say...JUST MARRIED!

Give your champagne a boost with a fruit infused sugar cube, the sweet and tangy taste will surely get your guests attention! And best of all you can make these yourself. You simply soak the sugar cubes in a bowl of fruit concentrate or puree (such as apricot, cranberry or pomegranate) until they are completely saturated. Remove the sugar cubes with a fork and place them on a wire rack making sure they do not touch one another and let them dry overnight. Present the sugar cubes at the bar or you can even add them to passed drinks at your cocktail hour! Have fun a choose a fruit flavor to match your theme!

Modern Martinis-How to Make Colored Sugar.
Friday, October 19, 2007
Wanting to add some flare to your signature Martini? Well add colored sugar, it is super easy to make and the guests will love the attention to detail.
All you need is plastic ziploc bags, some sugar and food coloring. Paste colors work best, as it keep the sugar from getting overly soggy and it's easier to mix.
The secret to beautifully colored sugar is to take your time and make sure the color is evenly distributed.
- Place coarse sugar in ziploc bag.
- Add one drop of food color, close the bag and shake until color is evenly distributed. Keep working the color through the sugar until you are sure there are no more concentrated little clumps left.
- Repeat step 2 until you reach the color you want.
If the color is darker than you wanted just add more sugar!Check out this website Sugar Craft, which has professional color paste at a great price.
Wow your Guests - Blooming Teas!
Tuesday, June 26, 2007
I recently did a wedding at the Ritz Carlton, Dana Point where the Bride utilized this WOW FACTOR at her Dinner Reception. We placed these tea blossoms in empty tea cups at each guest place setting. When the guests entered the reception ballroom, the Ritz staff poured hot water in each tea cup. The guests got to see each Rari Teas blossom right before their eyes. It was such a treat and the guests did not expect it! Each tea blossom is a dried hand bloom tied with white tea leaves. The tea ball creates a wonderful aroma and flavor.

This is what they look like after they have fully bloomed. If you love tea and want to give your wedding guests a pleasing yet fun gourmet delectable then you have to check out this website. Rariteas.com
