Hot Cookies
Wednesday, July 2, 2008
When creating your guest list, there will always be those few who live so far away, yet they make sure they are there to share your special day. Being the busy bride you are, wouldn't it be nice to show them how much you appreciate them coming. Unfortunately, you’re a little short on time with the wedding so near. Good news, why don’t you give them a warm welcome with homemade cookies. The best part is all you have to do is pick the phone up, thanks to Hot Cookies (805- 564- 2397). Homemade cookies in different varieties like peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, and chocolate chip will be delivered straight to their hotel room. Leave it to Christina Gumpert to do the work. A dozen gift box cost $22.50 and you can even arrange party favors for reception. Christina says cookies are better because, “You can’t Eat Flowers!”

Post a Comment | Yummy Chocolate Martini Recipe
Tuesday, June 3, 2008
Chocolate Martinis as Your Signature Wedding Drink
There are many ways to make a chocolate martini. Pick your favorite spirit such as light rum, vodka or brandy as a base spirit to mix with a chocolate liqueur. If you're looking for a fruity taste, pick a flavored vodka or rum such as citrus or raspberry. For a sweeter taste, use vanilla flavored vodka or rum. To garnish, coat rim of martini glass or a swirl a chocolate syrup in a glass. Very Pretty and guests at your wedding will love it
Ingredients:
- 2 oz base spirit (vodka, light rum or brandy)
- 1/2 oz chocolate liqueur
- 1/2 oz white creme de cacao
- Chocolate syrup to coat rim of martini glass
Coat rim of martini glass with chocolate syrup. Mix all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a martini glass.
This is perfect if your main design color is "chocolate brown: or if you are planning your wedding around any time chocolate sales are big! For example if it were around Valentine's day, why not add a "Hershey's" kiss as a sliced garnish on the rim. Check out the kisses of all kisses which say...JUST MARRIED!
