Hi Carrie, We have decided to go with our DJ for the lighting, but when we initially booked him we had only booked him for his DJ services and that is what the current contract reflects. Should I request that we have a new contract drafted to reflect the lighting package added? He basically said that we could just pay the rest of the balance for the lighting and the gobo when it's due, which is the day of the event. what do you suggest?

Hi Ann, You definitely want it in writing so you are clear as to what services/lighting he is providing. This way you are on the same page and there are no problems later. It should not be to difficult for him to write up a new amended contract for your wedding. If he does not require the final payment until the day of, no problem. Just make sure you give it to me so I can distribute it to him. This way you and the groom do not have to worry about it the day of! Good luck! Carrie Goff
