OUR TEAM

 Welcome...

On a daily basis, I am asked questions on wedding etiquette, planning, design ideas, and much more. I also hear great ideas and silly stories from the bride to be! Stories of "The Groom's Proposal", from parents planning the BIG day as if it is theirs. To the silly things brides do amidst the "planning fever." The planning fever is not an actual fever; I look at it as; a temporary slight malfunction to the brain! Let me explain...It is when: The Bride EATS, BREATHES, DRINKS & SLEEPS WEDDING and then out of this does not always act herself! This site will be packed with fun stories, planning ideas, tips, pointers and wonderful wedding vendors in the industry! So have a look around and I hope you Enjoy!!

The Beautiful Biltmore in LA- Stephanie & Chris- Glamour Mi Amore!

Artistic Imagery provided these great images from Stephanie & Chris's beautiful Millennium Biltmore wedding. The premier choice for celebrities, presidents and dignitaries for over 85 years, the Millennium Biltmore Hotel offers historic grandeur and modern luxury in the heart of exciting downtown Los Angeles. Check out the design...and the romantic shot of them together. Stephanie...wow, you look stunning.

The bride and groom decided on an"after party" which was a huge success for the younger crowd.  It was a good balance for those who did not want to partake in the dancing, DJ and drinks atmosphere...thanks to De-lighted! for providing the great mood lighting to help create the VIBE! A totally different atmosphere than the Biltmore Glamour we went for at the wedding reception.

Bowers Museum- Lacie & Matt Tie the knot....

Congrats to Matt & Lacie who tied the knot this summer at The Bowers Museumin Santa Ana. I truly enjoyed working with Lacie as she has such a sweet and gentle spirit. Lacie you are an amazing woman, Matt you are so lucky! My favorite design concept was the simplicity of using rich satin blackberry cushions on the mahogany chiavari chairs. The set-up looked absolutely stunning against the green gardens. I also loved how the sweet station had a FAV candy from each bridal party member along with their picture on the candy jars...too cute!

Thanks to Jim Kennedy Photography for the images...

Jan Garcia as always, thank you for all the images....and to the girls on my team- Samantha Woods, Danielle Graven & Megan Sandos-intern-extradonaire for helping implement all the day of details. Sweet smelling lavender to sprinkle on the newly married couple as the walk down the aisle...

DRESSES they can WEAR again!

Heather decided to have all of her girls whatever dress they wanted as long as it fit within the wedding color palette and they all had similiar material. Super cute and they all were comfortable

White daisies, fresh rosemary, sprigs of lavender, deep purple lisianthus, moss and freshly glued ivy leaves adorn this sweet flower girl basket. Good JOB Madison -you looked Beautiful!

potted plants and moss line the escort card baskets

Natural Clay Water Dispensers help add to the rustic feel at the guest beverage station

Guest wedding tables-simple yet with satin elegance

Our favorite Head table similar to family dining- "The kings table"- festive and more interaction at dinner with your bridal party. Plus the bride, groom and the entire bridal party don't feel like they are on display!

Thank you NOTES to guests- plantable paper in the shape of a butterfly with a sprig of fresh lavender- RECYCLED paper was used for the hand printed escort cards

Another scrumptious SWEET Station by De-lighted! complete with fresh chocolate chip cookies, white chocolate peanut butter cups, old-fashion taffy and vintage dishes. Love the mocha beaded linen!

Weddings Gone Past- Hyatt Huntington Beach-Red Romance

I just stumbled across Lena & Michael's wedding...realizing I never posted these images onto our BLOG. Lena & Michael were married at Hyatt Huntington Beach Resort and Spa. Thanks to Jen at Photojenic for the images.

I just love the below image...I am literally sewing Lena into her wedding dress! Before she took any of her wedding day photos her entire zipper busted out. Thank goodness for my "emergency kit" and some sewing skills, I was able to save the day. No one would have been the wiser. The entire night I saw her talking to guests and pointing to the back of her dress with a laugh and a smile!

Sometimes-red roses is all you need!

The wedding programs

Lush ceremony rose arch

Italian flair-wine cork escort cards and mini bottles of oil olive

High Energy Band-"Undercover" Casa Romantica Wedding

We had the great opportunity of working with the band Undercover for Melanie and Phil's wedding the other weekend at Casa Romantica. They are a phenomenal cover band that was rockin' out the hits through the entire night. They play a great variety of music from today's Top 40, to Motown greats, to some 80's new wave. Everyone had such a great night and a great time "shakin' their groove things", that no one wanted to leave the dance floor!

Not only were they entertaining, but they were such wonderful people to work with!

Smiling for the camera with the happy couple afterwards! Go check Undercover out at their website: www.undercoverlive.com!

Melanie and Phil - Casa Romantica

Melanie and Phil were married last weekend at the Casa Romantica in San Clemente!  The wedding ceremony was gorgeous outdoors, overlooking the San Clemente pier with the reception in the gardens of Casa Romantica.  The bride and groom had the time of their lives and never were short of a smile or a laugh all night!  Check out the beautiful pictures by John Partridge Photography from beginning to end of their "Romantica" wedding!

The HAPPY couple enjoy the amazing view

Her wedding bouquet

Shots of the bride getting ready are always cherished and look so gorgeous in black and white

Father-daughter pictures are a wonderful gift and a beautiful way to see a bride grow from Daddy's little girl to a married beautiful woman

Acoustic music is a great way to enhance a ceremony and cocktail hour!  Jeffrey Cogan, Associate Professor of Music at Chapman University played for Melanie and Phil

We did a 'room' preview for the couple before all guests were allowed to enter and they absolutely LOVED everything!  I recommend a couple preview their untouched reception before all the guests enter.  The emotions and time the couple gets to enjoy their vision of their wedding alone together is priceless!

The always smiling and happy couple at their sweetheart table

The scrumptous cake done by It's All About the Cake complete with succulents and white florals to make guests green with envy!

Congratulations again Melanie and Phil!  We wish you everlasting happiness in your life together!
